A nuclear family plus the widowed maternal grandfather go on a four-week holiday with a caravan.
Black comedy. Grotesque. The title is very good, and Gunnar Lindkvist does a good job portraying the grandfather: The only character with some kindness and dignity. Inexplicably, the other characters neither seem to enjoy the experience nor question it.
