Totoro in Space
“Totoro in Space”, me, acrylics, 2020-05. The family of forest spirits from My Neighbor Totoro (1988) visits a satellite to repair it. I am not sure how they got the job. I am also not sure how their acorns stay in the bowl on the dashboard in free fall.
I improvised this on a weekend, as a birthday gift to one of my nieces.
