A hagiography of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, only vaguely in relation to Dessins, a collection of the French author’s artwork.
The degree to which Miyazaki salutes the aviator here is truly extreme, elevating him to the mythical status of Mozart while consigning everybody else to a prosaic anthill. It’s on a completely different level from Miyazaki’s words over his dead contemporaries.
