Review of Memoirs of a Revolutionist (1898/1906)

Text

Peter Kropotkin (writer).

Read in 2025.

There’s lots of good stuff in this autobiography, but the most interesting is an explicit background for those changes in Russian society that were put into great fiction, through character, by Leo Tolstoy, Fyodor Dostoevsky and Kropotkin’s own favourite, Ivan Turgenev.
