“Steamboat Willie” (1928)
The first cartoon made with synchronized sound. Ecocritically and historically interesting. Otherwise dull. Its making brought the tiny industry of cartoons through the Jazz Singer (1927) check valve. This ended the possibility of another “Symphonie Diagonale” (1924).

‣ “Mickey’s Trailer” (1938)
The centerpiece shots of the caravan careening down hill looks like an extension of this motif in “I Wanna Play House” (1936).
