Nyarlathotep has a thousand forms. One of them leads Its worshippers in the night skies, hunting Its rivals.

For the literary source, read “Nyarlathotep” (1920). The connection from there to the board game is weak. Nyarlathotep has grown after Lovecraft’s death, hence the name of the faction’s Spellbook, “Thousand Forms”.
