Disney
A tag for organizing content
In 1923, Walt Disney’s Laugh-O-Gram Studio was bankrupt, so he founded the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio with his brother Roy. Their company would gradually mutate into an empire, one of the major Hollywood studios, working in all media. As a result, there is no longer any thematic or stylistic consistency in Disney productions. Even the old “family magic” slogan seems irrelevant. For this reason, a general Disney tag is almost useless. I am applying this tag inconsistently while I think about how to split it: By company, by era?
